Newism accepted into the ExpressionEngine Pro Network
Cue theme music from the ‘Karate Kid’ tournament scene.
Leevi and I are very happy to announce that Newism has recently been accepted into the ExpressionEngine Pro Network. This means a great deal to us, as we have been advocates of EllisLab’s brilliant publishing platform for a long time, and getting our site out the door meant we finally met the requirements for Pro Network entry.
The EllisLab crew are a fantastic bunch of people (something any community member will tell you), and we have sincerely appreciated all of their support. They have glady let Leevi spruik his many extensions in their user forums, and accepting us into their Pro Network is just another thing we have to thank them for. Cheers guys!
In your face “careers advisor”!
We are excited and enthusiastic about the opportunities that Pro Network membership will bring us, and we’re also pretty chuffed to be listed alongside the likes of Happy Cog Studios, Airbag Industries, Mark Boulton, Erskine Design and Viget Labs – big names indeed.
Anyway, enough patting ourselves on the back – we’ve got work to do (and theme songs to sing).

Also, I noticed that your blog/RSS feed behaves a little weird sometimes… eg, this entry is dated the 9th, but the LG Live Look entry is dated the 8th, but sits above this one on the entry list… and with the RSS feed, older posts frequently pop up as new items again in Google Reader… ?

Yeah, not quite sure why older posts are popping up as new items in our feed – I’m suspicious it has something to do with editing posts after publishing them.
As for Leevi’s post appearing above this one, that’s because he feels he is more important than me and makes all of his posts sticky. ;)

Haha, thought that might be the case… =]
