St Philip’s Christian College

Leaders in whole of Life education

An expression of life & learning

St Philip’s Christian Education is well established, with a prominent reputation for educational excellence.

When it came to building St Philip’s new website, we had one clear mission: make every visitor feel like they've just walked into a place where futures are bright, and possibilities are endless. Think of it as the friendliest digital welcome-mat for families checking out St Philip’s for the first time.

St Philip’s isn't just one school or campus; it's a whole community of learning, with multiple unique colleges and special programs all under one big family umbrella. Our job? To tie all these together in a way that's super easy to navigate with all the info you need along with a great experience. While current families have their own private portal for all the day-to-day stuff, this site is for families exploring education options. It’s packed with stories, info, and faces of St Philip’s that make you think, "Yep, this is the place for us."

Newism collaborated with St Philip’s internal comms team to develop the content strategy and information architecture. A recent brand refresh was provided by Mezzanine Media (lovely job!) who Newism consulted with to ensure the website interface remained ‘on brand’. The rest of the website project strategy, solution design, construction and delivery was mastered by Newism.

Outcome

Newism made sure the site is slick, quick, and mobile-friendly; launching with top-notch scores (on launch, 100% across all Google Lighthouse metrics), that means everything works smoothly, no matter where you are or what device you're using. We’ve also setup some smart tracking in Google Analytics (GA4) to watch user activity and trends over time.

Launched in February 2024, we are so proud of this website that intent to submit for award nominations – so watch this space people!

Newism will continue to support St Philip’s with a continual improvement and support plan; as well as scheduled maintenance to keep things tickety-boo.
